Happy International Women’s day to all our JAADC women. We are proud to have you as members. We are particularly thankful and proud of Merissa Khurma, Sara Haddad, and Aida Murad who serve on our executive committee, and Ms. Nahla El-Farhan who serves on our board of advisors.
As part of its Leadership Series and to commemorate National Women’s History Month, The Jordanian-American Association of D.C. (JAADC) is honored to celebrate this special month with Her Excellency Ambassador Dina Kawar, Ambassador of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to the U.S. As such, JAADC invites you to A Conversation with Her Excellency.
Ms. Kawar has served many high-level posts including Ambassador to the U.S., Permanent Representative of Jordan to the United Nations, Ambassador to France and Portugal. Her Excellency led the Jordanian delegation during Jordan’s non-permanent membership of the United Nations Security Council, and became the first Arab woman to ever preside over the Council.
JAADC will hold a reception following the Leadership Series forum in honor of Her Excellency. You are kindly requested to RSVP by Sunday March 25th.
